EBS Automation Ltd has been deservedly chosen as our Special Purpose Machine Provider of the Month, we are pleased to report here at Industrial Process News.
In 1993 current Managing Director Michael Evans founded the company, which was established as a specialist machine design and build enterprise. From their headquarters and manufacturing facility in South Wales and satellite office in Longbridge, the team can competently service a wide range of multinational clients.
The special purpose machine developers and automation system engineers have facilitated the needs of those within the automotive, pharmaceutical, healthcare and food sectors (to name a few core examples) with their comprehensive suite of high quality solutions.
The problem-solving company has conducted a variety of projects for esteemed clients and is subsequently experienced in using the following technologies: leak testing, vision systems, fastening systems, laser technology, dispensing systems, product marking and measurement technology.
“We provide a total service, from concept and design through to manufacture and onsite installation,” commented Thomas Evans, Business Development Manager at EBS. “This can be done for anything from simple jigs to fully automated robotic cells, and our solutions are tailored specifically to our clients’ exacting requirements.
“Products are designed and manufactured for ease of use and maintainability for multiple shift production as well as being backed by full legislative requirements to the machinery directive. This is in line with our company ethic, which is to be authentic in what we do, telling our customers that what they see is what we are; we are a very open company striving to give our customers total peace of mind.”
EBS typically works on one-off systems, which suggests that the flexible service provider has both the confidence and the capability to take an operational issue and address it as appropriate with a bespoke machine or system for worldwide installation and commission.
The group are well equipped to accommodate even the most complex of demands, taking into consideration important aspects such as project timelines and costs; working within the guidelines set to aid complete customer satisfaction. This is made possible with heavy investments in innovation, as EBS is constantly looking to advance with the acquisition of the latest technologies.
Thomas was keen to tell us more about what the future holds for EBS. “We have done the Advanced Engineering Show for the last three years and will be exhibiting there again at the 2017 edition,” he said. “Visitors can find us at stand F40 – we have attended annually since first participating as we have found this show to be the most suitable for us.
“The business is under continual evolution; we have a person responsible for ongoing improvement across the company. Our future plans are to continue growing in both the UK and over geographic locations; we are currently considering offices in the north of the UK and overseas.”
